Feeling a little nutsy...

Hiya friends!

Here we are at day four of the Some Odd Girl Valentine release previews and today it's all about Kaylee! Yep, there is a new 4"x6" set called Nutsy Kaylee that is a fun spin on Valentine's Day. Not only do you get cutie Kaylee, but there is also a darling squirrel, acorn, hearts and sentiments too! And the best part is that they are available to order today! :)

My card today was completely inspired by the wood grain heart stamp and coordinating sentiment of, "Wood you be mine?". I thought it would be a fun twist away from the traditional reds and pinks of Valentine's Day to go with a more woodsy theme. What do you think, was I too nutsy? LOL
Perhaps so, but I gotta say that I was tickled to finally put some of this old Sassafras paper to work. It's a bit more wild and collage-y than what I'm usually drawn to but it's the wildness of the print that I think works best here. Something about it brings to mind the feeling of euphoria and twitterpation that you get when first falling head over heels in love... a kaleidoscope of emotion if you will.

Now be sure to head on over to the SOG blog today
to check out the rest of the Oddie's cards. And if you hopped along with us over the weekend you'll want to see if you're the lucky winner of this fab Nutsy Kaylee set!

XOXO!

super cute! Sassafras is usually a bit too eccentric for me, but it definitely works for your card here. :)
